About the Creator
Welcome to The Narrative Project! My name is Charlotte Nerayoff, and I am a student writer, actor, and storyteller passionate about exploring the intersection of identity, psychology, and human experience. I created this platform to amplify voices that often go unheard and to build a space where people can share their stories, feel seen, and connect through the power of storytelling.
The Journey
From Center Stage to Community Advocacy
My life in theater began in the wings of a small community theater, where I first experienced the profound magic of the stage. However, as I began to seriously pursue a career in the performing arts industry, I realized that theater wasn't always the inclusive sanctuary it promised to be. I saw brilliant peers silenced by inaccessible spaces and stories left untold because the industry wasn't ready to listen.
My passion for performance and theater education taught me that the most powerful narratives are often those that challenge the status quo. I founded The Narrative Project to bridge that gap—to provide high school and undergraduate students a platform where their voices are protected, respected, and amplified.
Today, my mission is fueled by the belief that accessibility isn't just a requirement; it's the foundation of a richer, more vibrant artistic community. Every adolescent deserves to feel the power of their own story, and I am here to ensure they find the stage they've always earned.
